Did you find Klitschko-Povetkin really that boring?

I spent more time watching my neighbor paint his fence than the actual fight..

Fight wasn't pretty, but it was NOT boring. Everyone saying it was boring has some kind of agenda against Klitschko. Povetkin went to the ground 8 times and both fighters had damage. The clinching may not be pretty but it was masterfully used to tire out Povetkin who should of stopped coming in with his head down.

People are over reacting a little bit, the fight was actually pretty exciting, Povetkin was dangerous throughout despite looking on the verge of getting KOd for pretty much the whole fight. There were also several knockdowns against an unbeaten Olympian who has never even touched the canvas, I don't see how this is boring.

The clinching was excessive but there was also enough action to make up for it.

This is always gonna happen when you put Wlad in with a short bob 'n' weave type opponent, it's just the way the styles clash and Povetkin was as much to blame as Wlad by coming in with his head level with Wlad's waistline.

Wlad looks better against taller opponents, and there are plenty of those up and coming, so why not look forward to those potential fights and put this down as a dominant win which doesn't appeal to everyone due to the clash of styles?

It wasn't as bad as some made out. I've seen worse fights that the one we watched last night.

Povetkin was there to fight and his aggression and his odd success made it mildly entertaining. Wlad even went for the KO and traded in close in the 7th round. The knock downs and Povetkin's successes in landing his shots made it far from boring, though it wasn't exciting either.

Yes the excessive clinching and mauling made it an ugly fight but it was no worse than what we saw Fury do to Cunningham late in their fight.

It was a much better fight than HBO's favorite fighter Crawford. The fans booed the entire fight.............

It wasn't boring at all. It became predictable after a few rounds though, when it was clear Wladimir was dominating. Props to Povetkin for fighting entire fight on the front foot and fighting to the end. Not many could do that.

I thought it was an absolute disgrace and the first fight in which I think both Wlad and the referee should have been DSQ'd!
