Have you lost some respect on Joshua Clottey as a fighter???

He blew his chance to showcase his ability to win in the grandest stage of the year.

He may never be a hall of famer after that performance. To me, he was tough but he did not fight to win any of the round. It can be said that he fould like a coward

Why would you lose respect for Clottey? He's not Mexican.

It seemed he was just in there to survive, and if that is the case why not just walk into the ring, touch gloves, then with 2:59 left to go in the first round throw in the towel and save everyone the time of seeing Pacquiao tee off on a punching bag with arms.

He doesn't have what it takes ( BALLS ) to take on someone on the level of Pac. In all actuality he landed the more flush shots when he rarely decided to come out of his shell. Skillwise I really believe he's superior to Pac, but Pac more than makes up for it with the fact that he is willing to take chances and lets his hands go.

no. you can only do so much when facing a beast like pacquiao. if that was just an ordinary welterweight, cottey would have won easily using that style that he was used to. but i perfectly understand some disappointments because he was paid the biggest payday of his career and did not go out of his shield like what diaz, hatton and cotto did.

Yeah he failed epically. Didn't even try against a smaller man. And for that, I lost all respect for him.

Not really. Basically, I don't think Clottey could do much better. He failed to open up against a bruised and battered Cotto, why would people think he would open up and take risks against Pacquiao? My opinion of Clottey is the same it was before the fight: He's a good, strong welterweight with great defense, who tires as the fight progresses, doesn't have one-punch KO power, and doesn't (can't?) pull the trigger when he needs to.

Not really, it was what i expected out of Josh...He fought his style...It just wasn't good enough...

What did people expect? For him to change over-night?

Good win for Pacquiao against a good fighter...
