I saw some posters crying to heavens that JMM was robbed again. What do you think?

A poll was added. Btw, I voted no. The fight was actually too close to call (for me) that whoever wins is ok for me.

The best I can see Pacquiao scoring is a draw - 113-113. The best I can see Marquez scoring is 114-110.

Don't criticize Pac for the "fault" of the judges. Criticize the judges or Bob Arum if you want.

I'm fine with the decision ... it was a spit decision and it was by 1 point. I don't care ... it didn't show anything about Pacquiao but that he's still the same fighter. He did mix up a couple of right hooks, but nothing effective. Marquez out boxed him and did a damn good job going to the body.

The knocked down didn't matter much to me ... it was early on in the fight ... I have to watch the fight again but I had no problem with the final decision ... it was razor thin ... you could argue either way ... I thought once I heard the 114 ... i thought it was going to be another draw.

My criticism as i stated will be if he doesn't give marquez a rematch, he did not win that fight clearly and needs to give marquez a rematch and if he doesn't he deserves criticism in my book

It's finished. He's said all along he's moving up to 135.

I suspect we've seen the last of a great Pac. In my eyes, he is now post-prime.

Marquez needs to move on with his career. There are other good fights to be had at 130. Not sure Guzman/Marquez would be a crowd pleaser, but it might make for another solid payday.

I had the fight 114 - 113. The knockdown was the factor to me.

Fair enough. But maybe you have to start your criticism now because as far as I know, David Diaz is already the next opponent of Pacman. Bob Arum already said this a long time ago. Since both of them won, their fight is on now this coming June 2008. After Diaz is probably Campbell. Unless DLH(!!!) will make Pacquiao his farewell opponent...

i had marquez ahead by 1 point. also, i had money on pac.

no robbery. a close and depressing decision for marquez, but it's alright. a fight as close and competitive as this one can never be called a robbery, no matter the result. it's a shame that people with their muted mouth full of dick just switch to typing to cause trouble and confusion. get over it, appreciate the two great fighters and accept the decisions. if you wanna look for causes, criticize the scoring system which is not complex enough to reflect close fights adequately.

Good post. Instead of bitching about the scorecards, we should be celebrating the efforts of two guys who in my opinion are just a little past their best.

    Certainly worth my PPV dollars.
