I just hope he doesn't get cocksure about his power and ending up like many others before him who end up loading up single shots. He's a crisp combination puncher....if he keeps that up and add's a bit of guile to his defence...we could have a very special fighter in this division. So far so good.

He looked very impressive hurt his man early and still picked his shots and didnt smother his work , brian vera looked good too he looks like a tough guy i'd like to see him versus David lemieux. Craig Mcewan did well to beat him .

Lemieux said he was not expecting lyala to come out stright at him swinging looking to take him out he thought that he would keep him a distance, It just show's you how quick Lemieux adjusted to the situation real quick and easy! sign of a great fighter can't wait to see more of him.

I've watched him since perhaps his 11th fight.

    I've been impressed with him.

Perhaps a show down with either Anthony Mundine, Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam, Matthew Macklin, Darren Barker or Sam Soliman for the vacant Commonwealth title next!!

I like what I saw, very impressed. The problem for him is, he's in the weakest division in boxing and he's too small to move up to SuperMW. Where he'll be facing nothing but 6'2 guys.

When he's done with 160. He should move down to 154. Alot of great fights there with Cotto, Martinez, Williams, Cintron, Dzurdick, Angulo etc.

I'd bet my house Macklin and Baerker won't go near him.

Good timing, hand speed and power. He could do with a bit of head movement, but he's one to watch.

There's a bunch of videos on youtube showing some basic boxing techniques showing Lemieux when hes probably about 14 years old with Russ Anber:

Really interesting to watch now he's making it as a pro. Obviously been very well drilled since a young age, which is why he looks so technically proficient.
