Did you think Jacobs could have had a point deducted for hitting after Dere went down?

Jacobs didn't land or do any extra damage largely because the ref was pulling him back and shoving him into the corner. Had the ref not been pulling Jacobs away with his arm around his waist Jacobs may have connected hard and might have gotten a KO or really hurt Dere. I disagree about Jacobs not looking to land an illegal blow. I think he clearly was, he saw the gloves touched and that sparked him to rush in and even with the ref holding him back tried to land a devastating blow.

No you go to the neutral corner. Duhh. It's called following the rules. The referee was pulling him away and Jacobs was still trying to land a big shot !

Yeah I can remember watching that and wondering what the ref was going to do.
I wondered if there would be recovery time or a NC
