I felt the same, it just seemed like it was at the York Hall. I was expecting a little bit more atmosphere.
hayes putting on superb shows but i feel they maybe over confident on the demand for there product they chose the o2 arena and ended up giving tickets away and last nights venue looked half full to create an atmosphere you need a crowd larger enough to fill the venue there is no doubt there shows are full of superb well matched fights(warren take note) but i feel they should go for smaller venues to start with while there stable of fighters build up a following then move to larger venues when they can genuinely sell them out
Believe me it wasent quiet. Fantastic night of boxing , now am off to cheer mike Jenno on in Bolton with a crowd of noisey scousers
Yeah was a great night, one good thing about it not selling out was I got moved into a dearer ticket price section for free so it looked better on tv. Was still a good crowd there, fairplay to hayemaker great show, some great match ups. Scousers have some of the best looking birds I've seen at boxing too!
Spot on. I've been to a few fights and then watched the bout on tv and realised the atmosphere isn't coming across. I think I went to Calzaghe v Manfredo, the crowd was always screaming but it didn't seem the case on TV.
