No. My dad was a pastor and my mom work all the time trying to feed us all. Luisito Espinoza made me a boxing fan in 1990 then Pac came along. I'm a *******.

    Yes, he did.

He's been watching since the mid 70's (He saw alot of Monzon and Duran fights).

He got me hooked with DLH-Mayweather.

Yeah he did, that and football (U.S.). When I told him I wanted to box after hearing all the stories about toughness and perseverance. He went from admiring the skill, work ethic, and stories behind the fighters to telling me there's no way in hell he'd let me get my brain bashed in against some roided up gorillas for $50 and a ham sandwich.

There was no boxing gym where I grew up so the point was moot, but I've had an appreciation for the sport ever since.

Yes. First I was seeing him watching boxing on TV from time to time, of course it was fascinating for a young boy to see two men fighting each other for real. He was letting me watch with him, it wasn't long before we were both getting up at 3-4am to watch Golota on HBO.

No, the main sports I watch are: boxing, football and basketball.
My Dad also watches football, but also watches tennis and golf. Tennis is ok, but watching golf is the cure for insomnia.

yes. My dad's from Atlantic City so he has some fond memories of the fights, and he passed that appreciation onto me.

He'd buy the big fights on PPV (back when you had to go rent a giant damn box) and we had HBO so we'd watch the fights together when we could.

He took me to the Blue Horizon when I was 12 or so - which really sealed the deal for me because it's one thing seeing two guys fight on tv and another thing to see them in a good intimate venue.

Yeah my first recollections were watching the British guys of the mid 90's - Eubank, Benn etc as well as the rise of Hamed. In fact I remember really not like his showing off and everything even when younger although I appreciate him a bit more nowadays despite the fact that he is immensely over-rated by his fans - much like my view on Tyson who I remember watching a bit when younger (his post prison stuff).
