Did your opinion of Pacquiao change after JMM KO'd him?

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by mrtony80, Apr 8, 2013.

  1. So that article is all based on what other people said, and at that time ( over 3 years AOG ) he refused CUT-OFF dates not the testing. So what about over the last 3 years where Pacquiao himself has said he will do the test up until the fight?
What about all the other world champions that do not do the testing Fraud asks for? Come on lets hear your explanation why 99% of fighters do not do the testing??

WHY does Fraud not fight outside of Nevada?? I know the answer do you

  2. So in your opinion he lost to Bradley

Explain how any of that changes the fact that Pacquaio was the heavy betting favorite. Pacquiao has always shown a good chin and was knocked out cold by a smaller man who is not known as a 1 punch KO artist. If you thought Pacquiao was the best fighter in the sport and/or was at or near the top of his game, surely that fight had to change that opinion.

Pacquiao barely landed the straight left in III. JMM's willingness to trade is the only reason he had the success he had in IV.

ok, I'll simplify it down for you. I was excited to see the biggest fight in my generation happen. The negotiations were almost done and the date, venue, money split, glove/ring size were all agreed to.
and then I find out the fight is called off because of Pacquiao having a problem with random blood and urine testing.

He's an awesome boxer and has fought some tough opponents, however, it was just a matter of time before a true counter puncher capitalized on his weakness.

  7. And that is your reason to hate Pac LMAO what a lame excuse
And your explanation for why it has not happened since?

I voted it stayed the same because I always respected the little tricks he pulled off, but I was impressed by the way he was countering JMM's counters and using the signature movement that brought him success.

  9. Come on did you see the training JMM was doing? He also has adjusted to the weight over the last 2 years. I am a fan of Pac but JMM roiding is not an excuse. JMM has always conected in his fights with Pac ALWAYS and he hit him with precision ( as usual ) and power. Hence the KO, it is nothing to be ashamed of. Go and watch the Marg fight that will make you feel better :)

yep, I guess you're fine with him declining to take the tests because you dislike Mayweather so much, that'll you shove all the blame on him in any scenario.

It stayed the same. While Manny is a great fighter, I always felt he was media hyped.

More like it was only a matter of time before he aged enough that hes not as effective anymore.

Theres a reason JMM fought him 24 rounds in their primes and couldn't do that. Theres also a reason Bradley went 12 rounds with him.

Pac has been declining for awhile and I called it after the Mosley fight.

He will continue to decline and unless its against Rios or Alvarado, probably wont pick up another win against a truly top opponent.

  14. There you go again, a typical ***** reading the parts of someones post you want to see.. You will see I place the blame squarely on Frauds and Bob's shoulders. I do not hate Fraud he is one of the most talented Boxers of the last 3 decades. But he has also ducked fighters. I just hope you do not call yourself a boxing fan

I read the first part of your post and replied to that. I know this conversation is gonna go nowhere, so I'm not putting much effort into it.
You asked me why I hate Pacquiao and I told you why. There is nothing else to really discuss
