Yeah, look at how dominant Valuev was at heavyweight

Boxing is about skills, not anthropometry. The only reason why things like height and reach are even put out there is to give the clueless people something to talk about and hype up a fight.

Gamboa and Ward sure don't have too many problems with their short arms.

Margarito was a big slow punching bag, nothing more.

It went up before the KO because I saw an amazing Pacquiao in there doing far better than he did in the last two fights.

It went down permeanently after the KO, hard for a boxer to recover from that.

It allowed me to appreciate him again, without either the taint of bitterness at Juan being robbed and without his rather annoying fans going crazy after his fights. It was a bit like a burden had been lifted.

You only started to dislike him when Floyd told you to.

Considering it wasn't the first time Marquez beat is ass, no, my opinion didn't change of him, and why should it? He's still an A-list ATG, one of the if not THE best fighter this generation (Hopkins, Floyd to argue), and a fan friendly humble fighter. Rooted for JMM but was worried about Pac after the KO, hope he's all right and will retire when he senses he's slipping.

    Exactly the same.

Great fighter who got caught by the perfect shot and jumped into it to add to that. He was ripping Marquez a new ******* at the time of the stoppage, typical Pacquiao getting excited and paid the price this time.

It was a good fight, both fighters wanted to knock each other out.
Pac got caught by a perfect counter shot that would have knocked most fighters out at 147 so Pacman remains up there with the best IMO.

Yes. It was apparent he was less dedicated to his craft.

Manny damn near died fighting a 40 year old lightweight...nothing positive about it.

Stayed the same. Manny is a man of many hats and his commitment to the sport that brought him fame, money and success is not his only priority. A loss to Juan is never a bad thing based on how stellar his resume is and the fact that Manny was in fact winning the fight handily before getting put to sleep enforces that the guy is still operating at an ELITE level. The problem is some fighters can't come back from a KO loss. Can PAC? Only one way to find out.
