He should be stripped of his belt if he's not going to defend his belt at the proper limit against his mandatories. It doesn't surprise me you are defending this, you're biased as **** after all.

The rules are being made up as they go along.

A few years ago , you couldn't challenge , be ranked or be mando for the WBC if you held other belts .

It's a mandatory, he can't demand a catch weight unless he wants to vacate the belt.

People keep saying this and I don't understand how Canelo's 2 lbs fight night rehydration gives him an advantage.

Two lbs being: 172 vs 170 on fight night. Canelo gains 17 lbs of water weight, Golovkin gains 10 lbs of water weight. I think Golovkin being lighter than Canelo is to Golovkin's advantage, not Canelo's.

Im not defending it. Im telling it how it is.

Canelo don't want no part of GGG.

You don't see all the other MWs calling out and demanding a shot at the winner.

Maybe they have to much pride to be chasing mismatches against smaller fighters.

They is no defending GGG or turning down a CW after the things he said , doesn't matter what the circumstances are.

You can't be a unified champ and be mandatory for the WBC .

Never said he had an advantage. He's the same size as Ggg. There is no need for a catchweight.

Yea, you can't really defend Canelo or Golovkin in this case.

Exactly, it doesn't matter if Golovkin is 167 and Canelo is 185 on fight night. Canelo's weight is not giving him any advantage. In fact, the fact that he comes in heavier is putting him at a disadvantage.

Mmmm yes there is? What a false comparison. GGG is not the SMW champion. I will not defend him for asking 164 of Ward if he was willing to fight others at 168, I think that's BS to be honest but these are two different scenarios, what Canelo is doing here is 10x worse.

Suprised more people aren't thinking this way. It's like "duh"...
Canelo comes in super heavy anyway so that already says a lot...

Canelo will win a version of the MW championship that was fought at a CW for the last 3 fights.

It ain't right , but thats just the way it is.

GGG plays ball if he really wants the belt. When he wins it , he can chose his own CW.

If he don't like it , then go up and fight for Bodou Jacks WBC belt.
