Karmazan, Espino victorious! By Francisco Salazar & Rocco Morales at ringside WBO #6/WBC #10 middleweight Roman Karmazan (38-3-1, 24 KOs) scored a seventh round TKO over former world title challenger Antwun Echols (31-10-4, 27 KOs) on Saturday night at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, California. Echols dropped Karmazin in round five, but the Russian came back strong in rounds six and seven, finally getting a stoppage with an accumulation of punches. Referee Wayne Hedgepeth waved it off at 1:52 ———- WBC #6 middleweight Miguel Espino (20-2-1, 9 KOs) of “Contender: Season One” fame scored a sixth round TKO over former world champion Alejandro Garcia (26-5-1, 23 KOs).
