First post here, woohoo. Go easy on me.

I didn't watch the fight so I can't complain yet. So is this a Hopkins-Calzaghe where people are screaming robbery for no reason? Or is this a Holyfield-Lewis I?

    Fill me in.

THis is no Hopkins-Calzaghe or Holyfield-Lewis. This was the biggest robbery I have ever seen in my life. Williams did not win more than 3 rounds at BEST.

Nope I'm actually blind and I have my dog point it out for me, *******. I was asking for a little clarity or explanation. Not 450 people saying Lara won.

Terrible! Horrible! I would say worse than Lewis-Holyfield and that is saying something. Awful! It makes me sick! What really pisses me off, is that Paul Williams and his "Worst Trainer of the Year" George Peterson actually had the nerve to change it up after the decision was announced and claim that they were the rightful winners. Bull****!!! William's trainer was telling him from about the tenth round on that he needed a knockout to win. This makes me hate both Williams and his trainer, from a boxing standpoint. No, I'm not hunting them down or anything. This is SO BAD!!!! Lara proved to be a great up and coming talent in boxing. We as boxing fans need to ignore this atrocious decision and recognize the true winner, Erislandy Lara. I am anxious to see him in the ring again. Congradulations, Mr. Lara!

IT wasn't as bad as they are saying, I had Lara pulling it out 6-5-1 in the last round. Williams threw twice as many punches, was never really hurt and worked the body for 12 rounds.

I scored it 8 rounds to 4 for Lara. The 8 were all decisive too. The 4 I gave to Williams were close.

    One thing people aren't saying:

Paul Williams never took a step backward the whole fight. Lara never took two consecutive steps forward the entire fight either. Williams dominated the effective pressure. So in that sense, a judge with 0 notable fights who has been compensated by Goosen over the years could somewhat easily see rounds going Williams' way.

What fight were you watching??? Paul Williams maybe won 3 rounds. I wouldn't cuss someone out if they said 4 rounds. But, 6-5-1??? Your scorecard is terrible and you have Lara winning. Watch it again. He threw twice as many punches huh? Since when do you get credit for punches thrown?? Did you not see the punishing beat-down that Lara delivered to Paul?? This WAS NOT A CLOSE FIGHT!

I think 3 and 4 belonged to PW, and you could make an argument for 5 and 10, but beyond that, I think lara was by far the more effective fighter

Yeah that was real bad!! Williams was his typical self "active" but he was ineffective....Lara on the other hand, basically whooped his ass the whole fight..Landing left hand after left hand

It was so bad all three HBO announcers were saying Williams corner should throw in the towel and stop the fight around rd11....
