Bull****, for the most part his pressure wasn't effective at all. It did nothing to stop Lara from landing the left whenever he wanted. Williams was wide open as usual and he didn't dictate the fight at all.

I think boxing coaches worldwide need to show this fight to their fighters who are tall for their weight class as an example of how NOT to fight

Williams fan here. Before the fight I had to tell my wife we could find a movie after the fight cause one of my fav fighters was about to fight.

And giving the man more than 4 rounds at most is criminal. Lara won that fight, and easily.

I started a thread suggesting as much and wondering why there is no investigative reporting and my thread was deleted!

As a boxing fan, i just felt sick when the decision was given, honestly didn't even cross my mind that PW could get the decision. To any non corrupt observer it was a almost text book performance by the smaller man, no one gets an easy fight with PW but this is as easy a win you could get with these two styles, if Lara had Sergio's power it would have been over in the 1st again.

Boxing needs to do something about this type of BS, it just happens to often now, I don't know maybe show the judges scoring rd by rd, might shame them into being less bias etc.

"Boxing" is run by a loose confederation of corrupt promoters. That's the problem. It's not like there's a "boxing commissioner" that can launch investigations and have people suspended/fired.
