Which boxers does this statement apply to?

Or it is all of them? Once they have been used and abused they are tossed to the curb. Like a piece of meat.

Live long enough to see yourself become the villian... and then live even longer and redeem yourself.

curiously, foreman was the complete oposite.

He was presented as a villain, but he lived long enough to prove he was a hero.

Unfortunately, it applies to everyone. The more you learn about someone's flaws, the easier it becomes to dislike them.

One of the smartest things I have heard somebody say on here. When I first became an adult, I had became disenchanted with my childhood idols upon learning about all of the negative things they did in their life. As I matured just a little more, I realized we've all done things we regret. If people applied the same level of judgement towards others that they do to themselves, we'd be in a much kinder and happier world.
