DIEGO CHAVES had done the "EYE-GOUGING" Tactic on THURMAN before, as he did on RIOS

    :lol::lol:

    The boxi..scene.com site copied this, my thread, and started their own in their forum about 1/2 an hour ago (7:04 PM Pacific Time).

    Biters :rofl

    (But credit Spike, at doghouseb....g.com, because Spike was the 1st to catch this foul on Thurman, many hours earlier)

    And what is a fighter supposed to do in that position? Chaves was grabbing both arms and won't let go. Rios also said chaves try to bend his elbow.

    A fighter can try to pull off and leave himself at a vulnerable position or put his head in the other guy's chest and try to protect himself or push off.

    Rios is never known as a dirty fighter. Chaves on the other hand is known as one.

    Boy this sure changes the spin that Rios' performance, wherein he won by a bad DQ call, somehow exposed Thurman, who just happened to win via stoppage. The main takeaway here aside from Chaves' history of dirtiness is Rios' inability to do anything about it. Then again, the only people who pretend Rios is anything close to an elite fighter at 147 are the most deluded of the deluded Pacquiao fans.

    i use to think he was better then lucas and marcos on the boxing side. lucas and marcos more sluggers and diego boxer puncher. he you should have started out boxing instead of waiting until he got tired. oh well rios vs provodnikov is the fight to make.

    off topic in a war bradley had ruslan hurt at times at least twice. i think in war brandon can stop ruslan.

    Well he wasn't, but he is now.

    Dirty fighters exist, the much celebrated Bernard Hopkins is a noted one. The much celebrated ear-biting, arm-barring Mike Tyson is another. These guys get a pass though, more than that, they are revered.

    I don't believe that but I do think Rios can out-last Provodnikov, he seems to have the better stamina and fitness.

    ruslan was tired bad from trying to stop bradley. bradley landed a few hards shots that had ruslan on the ropes. i think it was a combonation of both braldey coming back and ruslan getting tired. brandon seems flabby in the tum tum but he is a work horse. i can see it as a dog fight until someone gives, i think ruslan gives. i dont see any holding or cliching or moving backwards. i think brandon can get the better of him and i think hes a better phone booth fighter. if brandon aint have no chin id say ruslan by ko but i know brandon can take his best shots and still come forward and break him in the end.

    It's a great fight, should really be made which means it probably won't be.

    I love how everyone turns on Chaves when they see him do it to Thurman, but don't give a **** about poor Rios.

    It wasn't me that caught it.

    It was a poster named Spike, at doghouseb....g.com's boxing chat forums, that was the 1st poster that caught this foul on Thurman on youtube a couple days ago.
