Did you pick Gatti to beat Mayweather? Or would you like to keep comparing freak events like the greatest upset in boxing history to absolute everyday mismatches, which is what Gatti-Corrales is?

If you can't see the smallest possibility that Corrales wins this one late on in a competitive match-up, instead of winning it early in a walkover blowout, then I feel sorry that your powers of imagination aren't better...........and this isn't anywhere near Tyson-Douglas proportions. Different styles cause different problems for fighters. Overall Corrales is a step above Gatti, I'm not disputing that (I picked Chico to win), but that doesn't mean that Gatti doesn't cause him problems.

I think Chico wins by TKO in the mid to late rounds in a fight that while entertaining, has the judges giving Chico the majority of the rounds up until the stoppage. Either the ref stops it or Gatti's corner has to throw in the towel because God knows Gatti won't quit. I think Gatti manages to win a round or two and lands a few good punches, but as everyone else has said, Chico is just on another level.

 

You'll have to ask their wives who was the harder hitter.
