    I still don't see how people get their knickers in a twist about this? Corrales is a professional athlete, about to get KO'd, a knockout that could possibly change his career, standard of living etc etc.. He was crafty, got himself an extra few seconds to recover by spitting out the gumshield, there's no way this is as bad as the repeated low blows we've seen from Cotto and Trinidad.

    Dude did nothing wrong. He spit out the mouthpiece, and got penalized. What do you want to happen? Its not a DQable offense, at least not on the 2nd spit. The referee took the point, as are the rules.
    Dude got up, and it was on. And then JLC got stopped, out on his feet.
