I despise, and for many reasons...Oscar de la Hoya,....but he was VASTLY superior to Diego Corrales, and would have destroyed him...knocking him cold......and somehow you had to realize this, yet you make this ridiculous thread anyway!!

 

DLH is superior to Corrales. Corrales has become really overrated because he had a premature death and because of the first Castillo fight.

 

Seems to me like he was over rated going into the Floyd fight, especially as he had personal problems in the immediate run up.

 

Oscar was a bit green at SFW, but even that version should beat Corrales badly...totally destroy him if they went at LW

 

No, Corrales has a solid resume.

A two division champ with wins over Garcia, Gainer, Freitas, Casamayor, and Castillo is not far from great. Castillo lost because he was knocked from his senses with clean punches.
