But...but..he only said Chico's chin would let him down.
    Not cost him the fight.

I hate Freddy's train of thought, but Corrales DID have a shaky chin. He's being honest about that at least. We don't know the condition of Rios' chin, but I'm willing to bet that he can trade with Chico and not drop first.

It's a shame, cause I would have all my chips on Corrales, but I know the difference between being a fan, and being a nut-hugger.

Let's not forget that Corrales was a super lanky SFW / LW. Rios is just plain...big at LW. Will probably be a good sized JWW.

Rios CANNOT take Corrales shots and smile. Acostas shook Rios in the middle of their fight! C'mon now sons, Corrales would T off on dudes head and in his prime had fast hand speed. Corrales would wup his ass like Trinidad wupped Yuri Boy Campas ass.

Corrales fought hard ass puncher Acelino Freitas, much better overall fighter as well.

HE fought sharp shooter Casamayor, in dudes prime.

He also fought composite puncher who had superb accuracy in Castillo. Freddy thinks Rios can place his shots like Castillo AND hit harder than Freitas, AND he must also have a chin better than Castillos... hahahaha, Dude again, Rios got shook by Acosta, Corrales put triple the leverage into his hooks. No chance Rios makes it, and Corrales would be witty enough to not let Rios T off on his head. I'm not saying that Corrales is a defensive fighter, not at all. But he proved he could survive with accurate punchers like Castillo/Casamayor. Rios hits harder than them, but he does not have the punch output/accuracy to effect Diego.

Agreed. Chico had legitimate skills when he used them, and his left hook would be the #1 weapon in this fight. However, he also jumped straight into a war as soon as he got hit; and God bless him for it. The man always entertained and gave 100%.

I think Chico does enough damage early to slow down Rios assualt a bit and wins a very hard fought decision; possibly a late TKO.

The real winners are the fans of action fighters.

The more I think about this fight, I think it could go either way, just NOT the distance.

    Wish it could happen :(

    Rios is far too hittable.

Corrales would have brutally ended him within 6.

It's actually surprising me by becoming one of the more mouthwatering fantasy match-ups of late.
Was dismissive at first but it just looks better and better in my head.:good

You're on PCP if you think Rios would take Corrales' shots and smile.

    Rios aint ****in JC Chavez!

He got hurt by Miguel Acosta for Christ sake!

Yet you think he's gonna smile at Chico's punches?:rofl:lol:

Yeah, Rios would be smiling ALOT after the fight. Chico would turn him into a smiling vegetable ****.

Let Corrales play into Brandons hands all he wants.

Toe to toe war, with Chico right in Rios's face all night, I still take Corrales tko in 11.

Rios isnt going to bring anything that Castillo didnt bring that night, other then Castillos own durability. Rios's durability I think is a little overrated, theres no reason that Corrales wouldnt be able to finish a guy like Rios whos going to be getting hit with just about everything he throws, inside the distance.

Chico wins a bloody war where hes down a couple times throughout the fight. To me, and just imo, hes was at a completely different level then rios when at his best.

THANK YOU! That's what I'm saying.

    Good analogy with Tito-Campas too.

Its very possible that Corrales-Rios would be JUST like Tito-Campas.

This fight would be alot LESS competitive than ppl are saying.

Rios is nowhere near as good as Castillo was.

Chico would punch holes in Rios.
