None. He just went dark. No official retirement or anything, just no more boxing. Nobody has love for these Cuban fighters at all , they are the most expendable guys in combat history.
He snatched the zeroes off Sharif Bogere and that Finnish kid, Edis Tatli (both of them were 23-0, funny enough), recapturing and making one defense of the same WBA lightweight title Ríos "beat" him for...but yeah, after that he disappeared for two years, came back with a close 10-rounder UD over Jerry Belmontes (the guy over whom Omar Figueroa got a gift SD a few years back) on a DiBella card, but yeah it has almost been another two years and no word on him. Probably got disillusioned with the sport like Quartey did after feeling he was robbed too many times. (Abril was legit robbed against Ríos and Prescott but NOT against Lundy. I was ringside for that fight. Hank outworked him...)
