Morales wouldn't last 7 rounds with Chico.

I like Morales a lot. He is/was always a true warrior with no quit in him. That being said, I think Chico would have blasted him into unconsciousness with one of those massive left hooks. Corrales's power at that weight was unreal.

its funny because when i did this thread 6 months ago, people were saying morales had no chance & would be dominated & ko'd,it'd be a hell of a fight with multiple kd's but id have to go with chico's greater power to win a close decision

Morales was faster by a decent margin.

My take - if Morales fights like he did in the 1st Barrera fight, he would likely lose as Corrales is bigger with the greater power.

If Morales fights like in the 2nd MAB fight, he wins a clear UD as Diego cannot match skills with him.

However... its likely Morales will mix it up a bit like in the 1st Pac fight, box the majority of the rds to build a lead but when it comes time to bang, he will accept the offer, trade, then go back to boxing.

Morales chin was cast iron all his career, it would hold up for a points win IMO as long as he thinks about points & boxes when he can.
