You just don't know with these brawlers. Diaz still hasn't face someone who can continously box or continously brawl. That is when we need to see a new level of intelligence. Guys like Chico and Castillo can brawl and stay stubborn just like Diaz.

I dont see how Chico is faster...Diaz has extremely fast hands, very underrated and better combos but Chico is the man. Prime for Prime its hard to say but I'll take Diaz

Diaz get's hit a lot and he doesn't have that much on his own punches. I think that Diego would be able to wear him down with those big power shots.

Yeah, I agree. He had better boxing skills and was less one dimensional. At 135, he had huge power that could really slow Diaz down. Diaz's punches wouldn't be very effective on Corrales, even with his chin. I'm not sure the same could be said about Diaz taking monstrous punches for 10+ rounds. I would say Corrales TKO 11, unless Juan's chin is titanium.

Diego Corrales in his prime 130-135 was close to being a great figher. He was tall and could band inside, had very good hand speed and accuracy. He could be stunned but IMO his chin is underrated. He was never counted out. He went out on his shield. He had great power and leverage on his hooks and right hands and could throw in combination. Juan Diaz would have his hands full. He'd for the first time have to deal with someone with the same desire, if not more to win. in This fight Diaz would be dealing with a fighter that could almost match him punch for punch each round and has hits alot harder. I doubt Diaz is stronger than Castillo in his prime so they'd be even up strength-wise. Corrales late ko

Diaz timed his entrance in the 135 division well. He was keeping low profile when Castillo and Corrales were still active.

At least he knows his place.

THE only chance chico would have is his power.....which is a pretty good chance, but juan is an all around better fighter....i dont see chico taking all that pressure for 12 rounds....i mean, he took castillos ruff house pressure, but juan aint a ruff house type of fighter, he's all punches, no dirty tactics at all......

i've seen chico get dropped by floyd and casamayor by just speed alone.....juan has that speed plus he will chico alot of times, i mean alot.......

i would say juan by 11th or 12th round stoppage.....

    yeah ok....

juan diaz calls out manny, and then all of a sudden your kind of downing juan.....

it's gonna be a hard couple of years for you now with juan being the king at 135.....i dont think he will lose any time soon..

Chico by Late KO in a good fight....I can't see how you could even take Diaz over chico let alone taking Diaz over PAC.:nut But I can see you are a true fan of the baby bull.
