Thinking about this one the other day. I remember Chico called out Diaz a few years ago although Diaz was not ready.

Id take Chico by KO. Wrong style for Diaz.

hmm... you may be right as 135 is one of the weakest divisions in boxing right now... juan should probably go up to 140 to face hatton or drop down to 130 and try his luck w/ pac, jmm, guzman, valero, soto, et al. so he can at least challenge himself.

i dont see why you guys would pick chico with so much confidence...

all he had over diaz is power, thats it...and seeing that juan has never been hurt, i dont know how you can easily say that chico would ko juan

Juan looks soft to me, he crumbles at the first true test he faces...

Neither guy has a great defense. Diaz hasnt faced any huge punchers like Corrales in his career.(Freitas wasnt the fighter he was at 130 and if any says so they dont watch boxing). Corrales is just as strong as Diaz. Castillo was the strongest lightweight of this era and he fought him toe-to-toe in 2 classic brawls. Diaz is an accumulation type fighter and likes it in close which would be bad for him. Corrales may be taller but inside he rip great hooks and uppercuts in combination and Diaz will be there to be hit. Both guys have good hand speed but Diaz is more quantity and Corrales was more Quality. Diaz would be in a guys face who would refuse to quit and and a fighter that hit harder. Diaz could drop him but he'd get up and Diaz could get discouraged. Corrales beat better fighters in his career and had the grit to match Diaz until it was over

so julio and freitas are not real tests in your eyes....

3 TITLES AT 24 YEARS OLD......

though manny beat barrera at 24 years old, he failed to beat marquez (who ****en schooled manny), and he also failed to beat a 60percent erik morales.....:deal

well, diaz also beat a definitely past-prime freitas and julio is a good fighter but certainly not elite like the 3 M's.

and freitas hasn't been in many wars....barrera had his share of wars by the time manny fought him....if anything, freitas had a long break and still had that monsterous power....

I agree...it's gonna be a GREAT action packed fight...but ultimately I think Manny is too fast and too powerful. I think he'll get to his target faster and more accurately than Juan would be able to against PAC....BUT!!! Juan is a warrior!

He's got mad guts and if you are going to be PAC you have to have a set or you'll be metephorically castrated by PAC....or you just have to be a BOXER with UNDENIABLE ability and talent. If you are not either than PAC will take you out. I think PAC wins by 5 but wouldn't be surprised if its an all out war for 10 or 12 rounds. I'm a huge fan of Juan but I don't think he can take PAC out or beat him over the course of 12 rounds.

NO THREAT....please man, quit taking away from juan's glory....he hung in there and fought harder than julio did....that to me is an A+ effort that juan dismantled...:deal

popo fighting his fight throughout the whole fight is more than julio fighting juans fight after just 1 round......WHY, because mentally, juan had julio raped already, atleast popo stuck to his own plan and tried to bang when the opportunity came.....if a fight is 40 percent mental and 60 percent physical, than what does that say about julio giving in right away.....julio never fights like that, even with that bunk ass chavez fight when he got the title, he was cautious like a mutha****er......

and i appreciate what you said about me dog, but it just feels good to be right when all these fools were clowning juan when i was backing him up years ago.....he's really came along way and i dont see how people can say bad things about the kid....24 years old and already has 3 titles in one division.....everybody praised when hopkins did that at 39 or whatever, why not just show love for the baby bull for now.....
