Corrales stopped Castillo in their first fight... That brutal war took a lot out of Chico. His punch resistance didn’t seem the same after that fight. When fantasy matching Chico there’s the pre and post Castillo version. I loved Chico, we were buddies growing up and trained together at Sac Pal, but I think Chavez comes out on top.

Chavez struggled to hit Whitaker and was out-boxed by Taylor, Floyd was far harder to hit than Taylor was.

The Castillo beat Mayweather holdouts are pathetic. The only thing worse is the “I scored it for Maidana and De La Hoya crowd.”

Chavez landed over 250 punches on Taylor. Most of them hard power-punches. That is far more punches than Floyd landed against almost anybody.

That makes Corrales better than him?

I wouldn’t go that far. He could potentially give Chavez a fight ending cut and his power was enough to hurt any 135 who stood in the pocket.

I'm not denying Corrales would land some punches, win a few rounds, maybe even hurt Chavez but in a war of attrition as this would be there's only going to one winner.

Rosario couldn't dent Chavez and neither would Corrales.

Chavez wouldn’t be allowed to get cocky and he might get a bad cut if he were unlucky. Castillo got reckless and got stopped bc of it.

Mark's logic makes no sense whatsoever. He just cant help himself in that he always has to compare fighters. He goes by the ridiculous logic that if fighter A beat fighter B ect ect. He just cant get it through his head after all these yrs on here that it doesnt work that way.
