I think so. Corrales was far too happy to fight up close and that would suit Katsidis perfectly. The fight would be a war - No matter how much more skilled Corrales was, it would be about attrition and was Chico tougher? Did he hit much harder? Did he have more heart? I don't think so.

It's a Katsidis type of fight and I think he could take it.

 

Prime for prime it'd be a helluva fight.

I'd edge Diego as he was a bigger puncher, and both guys are hittable.

Corrales is on a different level to Katsidis, anyone walking forward with no defense gets murdered by Corrales at 135

Corrales as gung ho as he was did have alot of skills to go with it....even when going to war he would show technique and skills above anything Katsidis has ever done. Corrales TKO before the 5th

 

that fight would be a war, but like hopkinsfan07 said chico would prove he is technically better than katsidis and that would be the difference

 

Technical ability doesn't mean much in a fight like this would be. It comes down to toughness, chin, power and I think, overall, Katsidis is more likely to hurt Corrales than the other way around.

 

Diego's a class above Katsidis, maybe a couple. Corrales wins this one for sure.

 

Technically correct punching does and Katsidis throws wide and sloppy, Corrales hits compact short sharp brutal punches that would get their first and do more damage. Katsidis power is well overrated, whos he ko'd thats actually any good? Corrales chin is getting sold short, only Castillo really clocked him after perhaps being ruined by their prior war

 

It would certainly be a war. I think Chico would wind up stopping him due to cuts and swollen eyes. Kat would lose the early rounds due to giving Chico too much respect.

Kat is still not done yet so let's see what he can do with these future fights.

 

No chance. Chico stops him quick and early, in a clear mismatch. If you think otherwise, or think this is a back and forth war or some ****, you're a ****ing moron who doesn't know enough to be posting in this thread.

 

i like KAtsidis . and am a big fan. but Chico KNocks him cold if not in the first then in the 2nd. Chico left hook would touch him early and often. and katsidis usally has to take the first 2-3 rounds to start warming up. remeber the Casa fight. Kats is also slower then Chico and chico would use his jab. the only fighters chico ever had trouble with were movers and bigger men. castillo in the 2nd fight( who didn;t bother making weight )and Clottey. KAts alos cut very easily. but he's been down his fair share. Chico in the 1st round 2nd if KAts doesn't go right at him but i seriously doubt he takes a page from Popo's book and turns from power slugger to boxer puncher.
