Most posters who have commented are actually largely in favour. There's the occasional tongue in cheek one, but in the main I can't see much to criticise, especially given the general quality of threads that appear on ESB.

As a completely genuine question, why would you think that CST might or should be banned for promoting lesser known fighters?

For me CSTs prospect (and others) threads make a refreshing change from the unrelenting torrent of fan obsessed troll threads ranging from such gems as 'Ellerbes last conversation with Floyd' to 'Why TBE should put big money in uncle Bobs pockets' (chosen at random, first and last posts on front page at this moment) - both of which sound entirely inspiring, but somehow fail to engage me fully.

EDIT: I know that some of the mods can seem a little heavy handed and arbitrary at times, but in general they only ban for fairly specific reasons. Prospect promotion threads don't seem to amongst them for some puzzling reason, though I am starting to think that CSTs commitment should probably be rewarded (or punished depending on your POV) with a sticky.

Really good but not wow material.

Meaning: world champion material but not : I can't miss his fights material (like GGG, Krusher, Lomachenco, Gonzalez).

 

I don't know about 2nd coming, he fights very differently from Oscar.

He's also quite a bit more likable, personally.

It would be great if he ended up having as successful a career, and in all honesty it could happen given how good he looks & how quickly he's progressing so far.

 

Well, you also only just watched his twelfth professional bout...

Did you see Golovkin or Kovalev or Chocolatito in their eleventh or twelfth bouts? If so, did they strike you as wow material then?

 

For a 21 year old at 11 fights, this is wow material. And big wow material I might add.

Bit much to say that, but he is looking like a solid prospect.
