Rodriguez pins Gramajo on the ropes and throws his own series of L&R uppercuts into his sides. Lead rights by Gramajo at mid-range, reestablishing control in the final minute. Double body hook slapped in by Gramajo. Chop across the face by Rodriguez at the bell.

Gramajo is shoulder-tackled into the ropes, where Rodriguez goes to work on the body. Rodriguez shoeshines and bowls with both fists. Gramajo tries prying him off and responding with hooks but isn't getting leverage on them up close. Rodriguez is pinning and swarming him with thumps on port & starboard.

Round 5

Gramajo is being smothered, with Rodriguez driving ram's-horns into his belly and working uppercuts and roundhouse slaps on the inside. Gramajo is countering in spots when able to shove his way free to mid-range but these separations are short-lived as Gramajo lacks the foot speed to maintain distance and isn't finding sharp enough punches to get the respect of the southpaw and keep him at bay. Rodriguez tags Gramajo on the head a few times pulling straight back.

Round 6

Gramajo is arm-weary, churning into Rodriguez's stomach, unable to solve the puzzle of removing him from his wheelhouse. Rodriguez is decreasing in effectiveness, his edge in body shots thrown now shrinking and most of his considerably lighter (even with Gramajo tired and lobbing up arm punches)
