I was debating this with a friend yesterday and I'd like to know what you guys think. I was told Melendez smashes Sanchez and I disagreed completely. I'm a Sanchez fan and I'm trying not to be biased but I'm gonna break it down how I see it. Both can push the pace very well but Diego is relentless, both have good standup but I think Diego's is slightly better. Both very good on the ground but I feel Sanchez has the edge on him wherever the fight is. I think this would be a fun fight to watch if it ever one day happens. Who do you think takes this?
Melendez is a stud. I really like the guy. Upstairs he's way more sound than Sanchez. Im going for Melendez by UD.
Sanchez standup has improved so much just watch the Guida,Stevenson and Luigi im not trying to even say his last name fights Scur. I know none of the 3 are the Cro Cops of their weight divisons but the improvement is clear.
