Difference Between A TKO and a KO

    It does get confusing for the fact that very few fights stop at a 10 count. They get waved off all the time before that count is ever reached.

    Thus technically a TKO... but really a KO.

    Bonsante got floored.

    He wasn't out or anything, but he just lay on the floor motionless with his eyes closed.

    So the ref called it a TKO/KO, at which point Bonsante jumped to his feet going mad saying he was ok and the ref couldn't reverse his decision.

    Just don't understand why Bonsante made it look like he'd been KO'd, you can understand why the ref waved it off.

    Would you say Robinson-LaMotta 6 was embarrassing for LaMotta?

    I think he was out and woke up at count of 6. Kinda like Judah with Tszyu.

    I think you people already what know KO or TKO means.

    May I know the difference between TKO and RTD when it describe the same decision involvement of the ref? Why can't it be TKO instead?
