Pac nuthuggers love to point out the dlh-hopkins fight to prove their argument that a catch weight is justified in pac-cotto. Ok guys, you forget to point out a few key differences. 1. DLH was past his prime, coming off a loss to shane mosley, and felix sturm (yea he lost that one), was a superstar for a long time Pac is coming off his career best performances, and just becoming a superstar 2. DLH was facing B-HOP, a ****ing legend. Unified champion, coming off a few wins in which he probobly won like every round (looking pretty unbeatable) Pac is facing cotto, a great fighter, but no where close to bhop, in his last 3, he got the **** beat out of him by margo, beat micheal jennings, and won a very close decision vs clottey in a close fight. Cotto has looked beatable/vunerable in his last 3 fights. He has a paper title.... 3. DLH was the underdog against bhop. Most people had bhop winning. Only delahoya nuthuggers thought he would win. Again, dlh was vunerable in his last few, bhop was looking unbeatable Pac is the favortie against Cotto. Most people are picking pac to win, again cotto is the one who has looked vunerabe in his last few, Pac is the one who looks unbeatable So to wrap it up, its not really fair to compare these 2 fights... Especially not as a justification for pac's catch weight demands. :blurp
Is it Pac's fault that he's the favourite? He's still the guy who's come up 10 weight divisions since become champ and Cotto is dropping 1 ****in lb since his last fight...
I can't even be bothered to argue. Get over it. The fights at 145 and involves a title. Stop crying over an imaginary 2 pounds. Cotto will out weigh Pac by 13 pounds on fight night regardless.
One mother ****ing pound. I can't believe the amount of whining over one ****ing pound. Cotto's own nutritionist said 145 was as low as Cotto could go without feeling the effects of the weight loss. Get. The. ****. Over. It.
