    Hopkins won the first Mercado fight by a couple points on my card.

    Not a big case of home cooking, but the judges were a tad generous to the hometown guy in that fight.

    Im a big hopkins fan but think mercado knicked the 1st by a couple of points, it was a close fight though. Luckily no doubt about the rematch

    its a shame these guys never step out of their own country and test themselves abroad.

    Well this is dumb. They're all Americans so why would they need to go anywhere else?

    Yeah staying at home in front of 3 American judges and an American ref. That`s really taking them out of their comfort zone. :lol:

    the americans like to insult fighters outside the states who fight on home soil when they are the ones who are the most guilty of it.

    Fighting abroad is more character building, and shows more determination and heart than a lot of people give credit for!

    I know right becasue it would make more sense to go out their confort zone to get robbed over seas !
