Differences between Audley and Wlad.

Wlad's good, that's the difference.

 

Wlad fights like a middleweight with heavyweight power and size, has amazing boxing ability and ring IQ, and is arguably currently top 3 p4p in the world.

Audley is a funny and likeable guy.

Saying they are equal is like saying, um, i would normally use a hockey analogy here, but maybe like saying Manchester United and Carlisle United (Division 3?) are relatively both as good because both teams field the same number of players, they both have United in their names, probably all the players know the rules, and they all can kick a ball.

Other than that you're spot on. Wlad has next to no ring IQ - when he's needed to adapt he's fallen apart. He's not got the resume to justify that high a ranking P4P either.

But Wlad's handspeed, punch choice and preparation put him miles ahead of some bum like Audley.

 

I think this thread is actually beyond ****. Quite a feat!

 

don't think you're right about ring iq fella,he seems to be able to think a couple of moves ahead of his opponent and make them do or go where he wants them.he seems to effectively "set traps" that opponents have been lured into making mistakes that he capitalizes on.all these quick fellas saying they are going to get around his jab and force the pace and whatnot.they all fail no matter how quick.his jab prizes them open and keeps them at long range where HE is comfortable to do what hw wants.
i don't really think he has fallen apart.there was something very strange about the first brewster fight.the puritty loss was youthful inexperience.the corrie sanders loss was a genuine loss to a guy he totally underestimated.not bad all in all when you look at his resume of 50 odd fights and just about the best ko % of all time
