How do you handicap the advantage of having your opponent wearing larger size gloves as a penalty or compromise when they don't make weight? Does it really even the playing field or the weight advantage still is more important?

I don't like the idea in practice at all. If you've been hit by 8's, 10's, 12's, and 16's... you can feel a clear difference between each.

When you fight guys of varying sizes, there is no consistency between their skills, power, etc. as there is in the advantages of different sized gloves.

I'd much rather fight a guy 10 pounds heavier than me who is wearing 12's while I wear 10's then fight a guy my same weight where both have 10's, lets just put it that way.

Nope. You can move on to the next incredibly ridiculous idea.

I read in this forum that this compromise does happen, but just want to know the fairness of this compromise/penalty.
