Which fights do you personally have trouble scoring?

One for me that springs to mind is Michael Spinks- Eddie Davis. I've tried to score it once and gave up after about eight rounds. I saw it live on TV when it happened and didn't score it then but had the impression Davis won. I'll try again soon.

Cervantes - Benitez for me. I had to stay focused for the entire 15 rounds weighing between the Benitez punches - which were more often - as opposed to the Cervantes punches which had more oomph behind them. In the end I had Benitez the winner 145-143 but not without feeling drained myself.

Seems like Troy Dorsey was always in difficult-to-score fights.

Perfect blend of him non-stop punching but without the power to bust a grape while being hit hard and clean but having the chin to stand up to it without seeming to be damaged.

@salsanchezfan Spinks -Davis is a good one, I think I've scored it a draw before but it was fair sized pain in the arse. Davis fought a very intelligent, crafty fight and exposed a bit of a weakness and preference for a comfort zone in Spink's approach imo, one that Mike gets let off the hook for a shade too quickly for me, legend though he was.

Hopkins-Calzaghe is hard to score though I confidently think Calzaghe won. It was such an awful, slop-ridden mess that it lost my attention at several points which was what made it difficult.

Great ebb n flow fights are hard to score.

Taylor vs Wright. This fight could have been a win for Taylor Wright or a Draw. That's how even they were in give n take.

Gr8 LHW Fight. Adamak was better the boxer, but sometimes blood & reeling from shots compromises the ability to score for that person.

The first and second Pacquiao-JMM were super tight and could have reasonably gone either way. Harsh on Marquez not to come out of either those two with a W though but he at least earned a share of the first fight, which was a moral victory of sorts given the opening round.

Chacon-Boza 2 was the best hardest-to-score fight I've seen. I think the judges ultimately got it right, mostly down to Chacon's classic crescendo of a finish in the 12th but it could have easily gone to Boza.

I looked up this on the scorecard thread and there was about 4 of us who scored it. Three of us had it for Davis by 1, 2 and 3 points. The fourth one who scored it had it for Spinks by 2 points. Tin-Ribs had it a draw, so you can see by all our scores that it was close. This is where I take the actual judges to task. Two of them had it wide for Spinks. Clearly, they were not doing their job and should have just mailed in their score. BTW, I had it for Davis 116-114.
