Come on... Fury just screwed up and lost. He avenged his loss by a clear win in the rematch.
Better fighters have lost while coming up in the ranks. Even Ali had to be saved once, otherwise he would have been KO'd.

McD always has that win that was robbed of him on his resume, but that doesn't make him a better fighter as he actually was. He was just at the right place at the right time, with unfortunately for him, the wrong referee.

Maybe if McD fought Whyte at his worst night, he would have beaten him too (not with O'Connor of course). But normally Whyte would obviously win.

McDermott is a legitimate 6'3''. Hardly a midget. 5'11'' Andy Rice Pudding Jr had your 30 year old hero down four times and made him give up! McDermott, needless to say, would've gone through Rice Pudding Jr like it was the last dessert ever to be put in front of him.

21 year old Fury was so "touch tappy" that he knocked McDermott out months later.

What does a 21 year old AJ or Whyte do against seasoned Derm? Not a mid or late 20s AJ/Whyte that everyone has in their mind, but 21 years and inexperienced in the pros ...

They don't do better than Fury, that's for sure, since Fury was more precocious, he was better at a younger age. He called out and fought Price at 17 after Price had medalled at the Olympics. What probably happens is that AJ gasses after a few rounds and is then TKO'd and Whyte the same.
