"Obviously he dropped me... so he hits very hard"

"There were a lot of shots in the fight he hit me with that stunned me, but I just tried to keep fighting on"

I knew Dillian hits hard, not just with his signature left hook, but the body shots have their effect.

Parker went a fully 12 rounds with AJ, AJ must have landed something on him in that fight. So Parker is giving us his view.

His a threat to AJ in a rematch, and I know Dillian was hurting AJ with his body shots in their first bout... just as he was slowing down Parker by going to the body.

It's not like many fighters in the division train for body shots as it is somewhat of a lost art nowadays... but Dillian can crack to the body as Chisora realised too.

Dillian has got the tools, and they have become sharper and more refined... though I don't know if he hits harder than AJ.

Tbh pretty irrelevant really, Whyte was trying to take his head off and AJ was jabbing and moving.

So wait? Does that mean Helenius goes the distance with AJ? And Dave Allen?

Holy ****, how hard does King Kong Ortiz punch then?:yikes:

Or how about this, Parker decided to trade with Whyte, and he did everything in his power to avoid being hit by AJ. So much so, he barely ate any flush shots against Joshua.

Sorry, thread debunked Dillian, whoops I meant Aydamn.o_O

See Jarrett Hurd in all likelihood doesn't hit anywhere close to as hard as Jermell Charlo, yet Hurd was able to stop Tony Harrison and Jermell lost to Tony Harrison. That's because Jarrett has a damn good chin and is not risk-averse and is willing to take one to land one, whereas Charlo is very risk-averse, and doesn't want to take any and only wants to land one. That's the difference between Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua in a nutshell, and Tony Harrison is like Parker against both of them in a nutshell. Parker couldn't get away from Whyte as easily or play it safe and had to go to war with him, and eat a ton of flush bombs, whereas Joshua was playing it just as safe as Parker was, therefore neither man landed anything resembling flush powershot on each other.

Let’s face it, Joshua’s shorts gave him bigger problems than Parker did in that fight.

Joshua isn't much of a puncher, his best achievement is knocking down Kevin Johnson, even though it was after the bell. Most of his opponents are stopped standing, Whyte actually has the honor of being his most brutal KO win.

I think Joe is much more qualified than anyone here when it comes to judging their power.

Hey I'm just passing on the message, don't shoot the messenger. Parker felt Dillian had more power in there.

So AJ didn't land flush on Parker in 12 rounds? Sure...

Yeah AJ played it safe with Heavy-handed Parker, but decided to trade with feather-fisted Povetkin.

    Seems legit.

    Not on this forum.

Posters thought AJ was wobbled by Povetkin, because they received secondary whiplash at home via bluetooth when AJ got hit.

it doesn't matter what the fighters say, all they did was just feel things and be there.

Whyte's KO's will be remembered for the ages.

Those top 50 throwback KO's that air 20 years from now.

No, not as flush is Whyte did.

He played it safe with both Parker and Povetkin, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Not saying Parker is lying, just explaining why he that perception that is actually a misperception.

    You're not a messenger, you're a propagandist.

Yeah I mean why would AJ take it easy on Parker...

You can feel your way through a fight then decide when to up the heat... and that's what AJ always does... so he must have caught Parker with a few good shots.

Just as he did with Takam but Takam didn't want to go down.

I am not exactly sure what your definition of 'playing it safe " is, and I would shudder to think what your idea of safe sex is either.

But AJ was not playing it safe with Povetkin... maybe you should re-watch it... as it was a slug fest.

AJ is not a slow fighter, he throws everything he has to get his opponents out quickly... and in 36 minutes I am sure he landed flush on Parker... Parker just didn't feel it as much...

But if you want to tell Parker how to feel things correctly or that he is doing it wrong, please drop him an email.

    Just spreading facts..
