Meh put whatever spin on it you want.

I don't rate Whyte highly but the fact is he took on Joshua like a true fighting man with a torn shoulder and a part-time trainer in Jonathan Banks. He got beat but hurt AJ and lasted what, 8 rounds? Look at him now. More polished, better condition and far more disciplined in the ring.

Clearly Joshua can see that since he tried to stack a rematch purse split in his favour. Clearly he is not so confident about beating Whyte this time round.

Parker fought a tentative non engaging fight vs Joshua, he even said so multiple times in interviews saying he played it far too cautious which lost him the fight by a wide margin. Against Whyte all through the build up he stated multiple times how he would be more aggressive, so the OP can try and spin this as much as he likes, but facts are:

    1. Parker wasn't anywhere near as aggressive in the AJ fight as he was in the Whyte fight, he highlighted this weakness himself in the face off.
    2. Parker caveated that he only gives Whyte the edge due to the fact they were both there and willing to engage.
    3. Whyte brought a lot more pressure.

Doesn't really matter, he didn't hurt Parker. Whyte did.

    Both went 12 rounds.

    And that is all.

This is funny to be fair, I have mates like @Aydamn who also believe Whyte is the best fighter ever and I have no idea what they’re seeing.

I don;t really need to spin anything, even if Parker wasn't aggressive, doesn't mean AJ didn't find time to hit him hard enough..

And AJ didn't hurt him despite better boxing ability and reach and accuracy and stability then Dillian.

And it's not like AJ and Parker weren't exchanging... you make it sound like they interfaced via bluetooth.

Nah they were quite physical and landing in there.

Your mates aren't like me because I will admit:

Whyte is not the best fighter ever, he is not even the best fighter today. He is a poor boxer that does somethings right.

“Put whatever spin on it you want” looks like you’re doing just that. He hurt AJ briefly when he landed his best punch flush and then got beat up the rest of the fight and KTFO in round 7.

“Clearly not so confident” well Dillian can’t be you’re right, or he’d have taken the 5 million+, took all 3 belts with this amazing power of his and become the man in the division.

Yet you believe in all these crazy things about Whyte. Can you answer me , who does and doesn’t he beat in the division?

Got beat up the rest of the fight yeah.... so Whyte didn't win at least one round or two?

    *Tilts head, raises eyebrows curiously*

Remember Whyte was supposed to be out by round 1. And he beat up AJ in the amateurs... so what man? I don't give you a headache about that. Same ****.

Stop hating bro, he lost... but not that badly. AJ is a KO waiting to happen as well so what.

I'm sure Whyte did indeed hit Parker with harder shots than Joshua did, because I don't think Joshua ever caught Parker as cleanly as Whyte did. Just as I'm sure Duhaupas a noted non puncher hit Helenius harder than Whyte did as Helenious simply looked to survive vs Whyte knowing if he tried to compete Whyte would of sparked him out even quicker than Duhaupas did.

Parker fought a very different fight vs Joshua he was far more cautious and to be fair to Whyte, Whyte also fought a much more aggressive fight than Joshua and put the kind of hurt on Parker that nobody previously has been able to do. Had Parker been more aggressive vs Joshua or had Joshua been willing to take more risks vs Parker I'm sure Parker could of been dropped or even stopped vs Joshua. Both Joshua and Parker fought as if they had something to lose when they fought but Whyte and Parker when they fought put everything on the line which why it was a much better fight.

If you look at the actual round in which he hurt Joshua, you can pin point the precise moment that he completely tears his shoulder - he literally is in the midst of throwing a punch that he had to pull out of because his shoulder had gone. The reason why you don't hear Dillian mention this as an excuse is because he is no punk *****.

I've already destroyed that second point you made in the first reply to this thread:

Let's not forget that Joshua completely shat it from a trash-talking confrontation in the ring with Dillian after the Chisora rematch by playing the pantomime jester and being booed out of the O2 and then caused potential fights against Wilder and Whyte to collapse with his ****house purse split demands.

I'm done here anyway. I'll repeat I don't even rate Whyte highly but facts are facts.

Has a strong chance of beating everyone except Fury, where his chances are slim.

Crazy things about Whyte? Like body punch power, KO power, durable... I'm not being over the top am I?

Did I say Whyte is better than Muhammed Ali in terms of skill ? Nope.

Sometimes I worry about the general intelligence of boxing fans.

This has been explained countless times throughout boxing history and I'm surprised it keeps coming up. Styles make fights, Parker played safe and tried to box with Joshua thus giving limited chances for Joshua to land clean, he didn't with Whyte. It's that simple.

Evander Holyfield explained previously that whilst he's sure Mike Tyson was a very hard puncher, he didn't land anything significant and didn't hurt him at any point over their 2 fights. By your child-like logic that means that Mike Tyson was not a hard puncher right?

How come I’ve heard Dillian Whyte bring up the shoulder loads of times or do you just play deaf with that? And purse split demands, so 5 million + for a challenger to fight for 3 belts is bad? 60/40 against wilder is a bad offer?

Wait... so when Parker fought AJ he had nothing to lose? Not some belt.. called the WBO strap by any chance?

All he had to do with Whyte was stay away and outpoint the man with 15 years less experience.

And AJ would have dropped Parker or stopped him yeah?

    Granite chin Parker?

The same way AJ stopped and dropped Takam?

    Come off it mate.
