Just from his win alone vs Parker gives Whyte a better heavyweight resume than Wilder and in less fights as well.

It's not saying much though? In an era of stuffed resumes Wilder's record is remarkably weak. I often think of him when discussing the decline of boxing in the US. Not to blame him, but as an example of how far the pursuit of an artificial '0' record to entice the networks has damaged the sport. Guess some of that comes from fighting mainly US based fighters, the division has been weak there for sometime/ Who has he fought? Stiverne? Duhaupas and Ortiz? It's as if someone sat down and plotted a route to creating a highlight reel fighter with an impressive set of stats to entice networks/ppv buyers and then worked back from there to pick the opponents that would help them achieve it.

Whyte has done well though, going for the Parker fight in particular was a gutsy move given how high he'd risen in the various sanctioning bodies rankings. Just hope he keeps on stepping up.
