Fury knocked him out with an arm punch uppercut. Whyte has a chin the consistency of a wet paper bag (apologies to wet paper bags).
So now we know what happens when feather-fist meets glass jaw. This is why having a chin is SO important in boxing.
Fury didnt even flinch when he ate his own uppercut, but Whyte got KTFO, definitely china. This content is protected
Not a glass jaw, but he has been hurt badly and/or dropped by every decent puncher he has faced. I guess him vs David Price would have actually been a fun fight, kill or be killed.
I think it's more about the fact he's vulnerable to uppercuts than him just straight up having a glass chin. He's eaten plenty of other shots and isn't hard to hit, it's just that he's reckless on offense and can't anticipate sweeping shots from beneath.
Knocked down Wilder 5 times across there 3 fights. Destroyed Whyte with one punch. Sugar Hill has made him a beast who can hit harder than any other heavyweight next to maybe Wilder and possibly Joshua.
Wilder = no chin Whyte = no chin You're deluded if you think he hits harder than Whyte, Joyce, Bakolie, Chisora, Ortiz, Rivas, or even Dubois.
Wilder no chin? Your the deluded one he withstood a mighty beating from Fury in the second fight and stayed in his feet til the stoppage. And survived an onslaught from Ortiz. And Whyte took Chisora’s, Parker’s and Rivas’s (all guys you listed) best punches.
He withstood a mighty beating from someone with no power... He was badly wobbled by Eric Molina, was hurt badly Ortiz, dropped by Sconiers, hurt by Breazeale, hurt by Duhaupas... and stopped twice by Fury, who isn't a puncher. He was also hurt by Fury prior to joining with Sugar Hill. Wilder does not have a good chin, hence the reason they avoided any semblance of a puncher for his entire career. I didn't even say they hit particularly hard, I say they hit harder than Fury, which they unequivocally do. None of them are as good as Fury, which is why they didn't stop him. And also, Whyte hit the deck against literally all of them.
