If he's up against a decent opponent he's a legit contender. Ring rank him at 3rd in the world in the glamour division. He's not the second coming of Ali but he comes to fight and has been in some exciting dust-ups. His win against Parker, dirty and questionable as it is, still stacks up as a quality result.

I don't buy all the PPVs on offer so I don't get too annoyed by them. If I don't fancy it I don't buy it and either listen on the radio or watch later.

If people pay for it then it’s ppv worthy, regardless of your opinion. That’s the bottom line.

 

Whyte has had masterful promotion and you have to give huge credit, he is billed as a fight anybody, always ducked knockout artist even though he has a lower KO% than boring featherfisted fury.

I mean I saw a pair of Nike trainers for £250 which is fcking outrageous, that’s a lot of money, maybe ten to fifteen top notch premium pizzas. Do Nike expect me to keep on buying their trainers at any price no matter what they look like?

Bingo pal. Knickers in a twist is pretty accurate. Buy it, or don’t, like any discretionary spending, personal choice.

 

Before lockdown I could easily spend £20+ a week in Starbucks on a latte each morning. How could I moan about an optional £20 on a PPV every few weeks? It’s 2020, not 1980 and sport is what it is.
