From what I recall he dropped Solis and Solis knee gave out as he went down. Solis definitely lost his commitment when he turned pro, which is a shame considering how good he was as an amateur.

 

I hear there is a rumor that Dillian Whyte will fight Chris Arreola next.

If Arreola hits Whyte with the same shot he floored Ruiz with, Whyte isn't getting up.

That would be so funny if Arreola wastes Whyte. I might have to bump this thread that night.

Fact is Ortiz was never the top heavyweight in Cuba as an amateur hell sometimes he wasn't even the 2nd best.

Ortiz being the best cuban heavyweight as a pro isn't exactly some remarkable achievement, when it's basically him, Solis, Juan Carlos Gomez and Jorge Lusi Gonzalez.

Even without Solis Vitali beat a better version of Arreola, beat prime Chisora who's beaten 2 guys on Wilder's resume, beat Adamek, beat Gomez, Peter, Johnson and Hide.

 

Whyte makes but quit on his stool. He also has a better resume than vitali.

That would actually be hilarious if it wouldn't possibly lead to Arreola becoming mandatory for the WBC and him getting another shot at the title which would probably see Fury/AJ pushed back again.
