It has more to do with how much the heavyweight division sucks after the top 3 guys than it does with Whyte himself

It's possible Povetkin could have landed the same punch in the second fight
    All fights are different.
You say, so what he knocked him down twice in the first fight, but the point I was making was that except for Povetkin landing a great punch, the two fights didn't look much different at all in performance by either
Not sure why you are bringing corrales into this?

People have ignored how much worse he’s looked since leaving mark tibbs. I think that was a major factor in his downturn. Whyte hasn’t looked his best for some while.

I guess it is mostly due to his promoter's skills. Had he been from Ukraine or Poland, he would have never smelled a title fight.

So many haters... Whyte is a prizefighter, he manged to get himself into a position where he was paid 8 million dollars for 18 minutes work. That is a massive achievement, especially considering where he came from.

    Odd position to take:

He hasn't achieved all that much................He's never been anything more than a contender, and clearly never will be.

No matter where u rank him....be it 5 or 25....thats a helluva lot higher than most boxers will ever achieve. He is a decent fighter....just cos he aint elite doesnt make him a failure!! He has worked hard to earn a few bob.....well done him.

He became a top 5 heavyweight with some very obvious limitations
