Anyone else suprised/ impressed that Whyte has managed to build a stable of fighters he manages? Namely Alen Babic and Fabio Wardley.. Didn't seem like the type of guy to me to be able to be a manager.
Dean Whyte manages it. They have copied the Matchroom model and also gotten the fighters onto Matchroom shows too. It also explains why Dillian is risk averse these day too. In business you dont take too many chances with risk and money and Dillian has followed that into his career as well.
He is basically a gangsta bum who lives in the street. He is trying to seem different than he actually is.
Say what you will about Whyte and im no fan really, but he is very savvy and knows how to make a pound
What makes him a gangsta bum? I am not a fan but please explain detail why he is a gangsta bum so we can be enlightened or is this just a mindless rant?
I don't think he's a gangsta bum at all. His reaction to nearly getting his head taken off by a table from Delboy suggests he's not. Even tho' he'd initially provoked Delboy with empty threats prior to that. Talks cheap and easy. He may seem to infer the gangsta thing at times in interviews etc but I think he's a decent enough sort regarding that vain. I've heard he's pretty generous and looks after people. Gangsta?. Nah. Knobhead?. Yeah. Tark's to much?. There's not a donkey withing a 5 mile radius of him with a hind leg.
Get Dillian mad and you'll see a rude boy transform into a barrow boy in mere moments. That's why he couldn't react to Del's table-tossing antics at the presser. Del pulled that mask down at closer quarters in The Gloves Are Off, though.
Has it ever been explained why Dean Povetkin changed his name and introduces himself as Dilians brother?
Whyte is the owner of a managerial company. Much easier than being the actual manager who works day to day. Fair play to dildo whyte though getting his future affairs I'm order before fury ends his career
