I know it's tune up fight after being KOed but that is a poor list names, says it all when Wallin is best.

Wallin - yes he took 4 rounds off Fury and could of won by the cut stoppage however Wallin has failed to impress since. Wallin best win is a point decision over Breazeale.

Arreola - yes he gave Ruiz a scare dropping him but Ruiz won all but 2 rounds. This guy even lost Kownacki and Stiverne.

Mckean- Been in the UK sparring a lot of top British guys the past 2 years(including Whyte IIRC). However Mckean didn't impress me against journeyman Baracmomte in which he won on points.

Franklin - got a gift decision over Forrest and his best legit win is against Rydell Booker lol.

Fully agree, but a lot of posters on here think Wallin would beat Whyte. I reckon Franklin is the most likely option.

Let's be honest, it's all building to Joshua vs Whyte next year so they keep all the money basically in house

I'd much rather see Whyte fight a better opponent than the ones named and take on someone dangerous like Bakole, Makhmudov, Hrgovic or Zhang.

Think it's on DAZN. Shocked if it goes PPV.
Should be, but from an interview I saw, it was the interviewer who suggested the name Otto Wallin, and before the words had even left his mouth, Hearn had started reeling off Franklin, McKean and Areola.

    So, doubt it's Wallin sadly.

Me too, but he just fought Povetkin, Povetkin, Fury, and got stopped in two of the three. Plus he just switched trainer. So, it's a bit more forgiveable that he's fighting guys around the top 40. Anyway, it could be worse, it could be Charr.

Is Miller and Knight(not sure if he was there first fight ) to blame for the lapse in concentration that led to Povetkin KO? Dominated both fights otherwise. Fury got his tactics spot on and I felt Whyte did nothing new and fought in the same style pre Povetkin. Fury was a stylistic nightmare for him. I wonder what he saw in Miller in the first place if he binned him so quickly?

Craig Richards vs Richard Bolotniks will be on the undercard of Whyte’s return. It’s a great fight and should have been on the poor Benn Eubank card.

Whyte's hit his ceiling and I think he's now in free fall. No trainer can really change that.

He'll always be game and entertaining though.

Zhang or Hunter, now Hughie has pulled out, would be good. Both high risk, low reward though, I guess.

Assume Eubank and Benn's guarantees are so big, the undercard is limiting Matchroom (and DAZN) exposure to a loss if it doesn't sell...
