As a complete outsider to this, it would feel really odd if DAZN had allowed that loophole in for a high profile fighter like Whyte. Could give a lot of incentive for Matchroom's other stars to do the same…

 

Chantelle Cameron unification fight (against Mcgee?) might be the most interesting bout on this card.

 

Would prefer Charles Martin TBH. It would be a funny match up just because they hate each other. The other two are boring.

 

I might be wrong but surely if sky are doing a ppv they wouldn't allow it to be on DAZN?you would be a wally to pay sky for it when you can get it on DAZN.

 

Well yeah, exactly. I think the question's whether Whyte is part of the Matchroom / DAZN deal, or if he's a free agent.

This is what Coppinger mentioned when he broke the DAZN UK story a few months back. Once it became "official", I'm sure Hearn made a point of saying only AJ was excluded as he had his own TV contract.

If Whyte qualifies as some kind of free agent though then that's really annoying.

 

It will be SKY PPV regardless, Hearn sees Whyte as a PPV fighter and thus it will be, no way he goes back to fighting on normal Sky or DAZN

 

I don't think AJ will be on Sky for long though. Hearn hinted that there be announcement made after the Usyk fight.
