So Hearn is basically offering the chance to fight a bum then wait 9 months to face AJ in a PPV loot rematch.

Given the fact Whyte has always done everything Hearn has told him to. I don’t expect the Fury fight to happen now

Let’s hope not. Would be terrible news all round. Fury vs Whyte is a great fight in the interim whilst we wait for Joshua vs Usyk to play out.

Fury would then end up fighting someone like Helenius which would be a waste of time.

£6m to fight More Chisora? Whyte would be a fool to not take it. He's in it for the money, so that's what he will do.

Not that he’s necessarily in the know, but I see Billy Nelson on twitter speculating about the fight falling through.. a bit worrying if people within the sport are discussing this as a possibility.

Billy Nelson is hardly the most credible guy. Always badgering on about how Bakole will do this and that to extreme levels.

I don't trust fat guys in general and that's another thing that puts me off him. If he can't look after himself what good is he to anyone else

I get he wanted more than 20%. Yawn. But it’s still a lot of money. Just get on with it now. Win the fight then you get the lions share.

    Very unusual story.

The description of the Hearn plan is literally him doing his job. You have a relationship with an unhappy fighter, and you offer him an alternative that could be advantageous to both of them - Hearn gets a potential marquee fight, Whyte gets a viable alternative to take to the negotiation table with Arum and Warren.

Very curious as to who has leaked this. My guess would be Whyte's side rather than Hearn. Deadline is approaching, and this is a way of trying to eke out a few more percent.

Clock is ticking now Dillian. IMHO you're totally entitled to go up to the deadline and negotiate as good a deal as you can. But when the deadline comes, if you don't sign you're a damned fool. Tick tock.

If he wins the fight like he has always said he would, he holds the belt, and he can offer Fury what ever percentage he wants.
