Rivas is obviously on a ton of juice himself, so I can't feel much sympathy there.

Perhaps, (I assume that everyone is on *something*), but until Rivas fails a test - he has to be given the benefit of the doubt.

Very convenient for Wilder. He will petition the WBC to be allowed to dodge Whyte once again.

Of course, and although it's a shame for fans, can you blame him? From his perspective - he will only take risky fights if it's big money.. Whyte is a risky fight but isn't a massive draw. At least with Fury or Joshua, Wilder knows he stands to make a killing with the potential of rematches or trilogies.

Wow in the Twitter, where they report Dillan failed a drug test, WBC was very fast to drop him from Mandatory spot. That was shady as f*****.
Now i`m looking at that tweet and it`s deleted, and i`m sure it was from WBC.
Don`t tell me that is not shady as f******.
The moment Whyte was official mandatory for Wilder is the moment he get caught.
Is he on something? Yeah of course, Wilder is on something big as well, and the same goes for Joshua. It`s about how well you mask the drugs and maybe some of them are paying huge money to not get caught.

Its funny how all the none big money risky fights all spend 3 years as mandatory before getting a shot and then fail drug tests lol.
Pudding mandatories can fail drug tests and he will still fight them

Stiverne popped dirty before he was made a mandatory to Wilder, in the aborted fight with Povetkin. It wasn't for anything too extreme that I recall, but the same might be true of Whyte as well. In which case there's no reason not to let the fight go ahead.

Like you I'll be waiting for all the details to emerge before condemning anyone.

Matchroom guys always loose. Yet the show goes on. They average about 3 shows a month.
The only problem he has is PPV. They built Whyte up to that level but he is now no longer an option. Joshua will always be on PPV and deliver good numbers.
So what will Matchroom do? Import other fighters for their PPV cards. Golovkin, Lomachenko and Linares come to mind. As long as Matchroom has solid contenders, they are set.

If that's true then Whyte has grounds to sue. Stiverne popped dirty for DMAA (dimethyamylamine) in the eliminator with Povetkin but was ordered by the WBC to continue the fight. When Povetkin later popped dirty for ostarine the fight was called off and Stiverne was miraculously installed as mandatory to Wilder without having to fight anyone. Unless the WBC have advance knowledge of what Whyte tested positive for they're jumping the gun here, and are acting in a manner that might constitute a breach of law.
