So apparently Hearn knew about the adverse analytical finding on or as early as the 17th. That twit post is the 24th. Lmao, he is caught!

Not sure if a fights gone ahead after testing positive but Floyd got caught taking IVs and they did nothing till a fortnight after the fight when they then decided to give him permission even though he'd already done it weeks prior.

Well I have a few questions..

What did he test positive for? Not that it matters, I am zero tolerance, so no excuses but I'm still interested.

Why was he allowed to fight? Who actually OK'ed this? Who made that decision?

It raises huge questions about Matchroom and Sky Sports Boxing who knowingly sold a PPV fight (The Main Event) after being informed one fighter (Their Fighter) failed a drug test.

    Who holds them to account?

Was Rivas informed? Did his team have objections? Was they paid more to keep quiet before the fight?

I am having a hard time understanding how the BBBofC had no problem with this and didn't do anything, surely this also questions the BBBofC's credibility and if they are fit for purpose.

I urge all British Boxing fans not to defend this crap, I'm British, it's hard to take and to understand but we can't defend this, no way, regardless of what it was the fact is it's a failed test, we can't let is slide and then go and point fingers and slaughter fighters like Canelo, Povetkin, Ortiz, Fury (who actually gets a total pass).

I don't give a toss of it's proven from a poxy eyedrop, if it's on the ban list then it's a failed test.

Also I don't want to see hypocrisy, if you defend Fury, Billy Joe Saunders, Canelo and the others then don't start hammering Whyte, be consistent and be honest, if you make excuses then have to make excuses for ALL, and that's why you got such a hard time for defending those fighters because you look hypocritical a-holes when something like this happens.

That is a specific way of wording it from eddie, but as of now I'm going to wait until I find out what the banned substance was, because being cleared to fight also sounds odd, I'f the test came out he was loaded with testosterone I have to hope they would cancel it, It could be that the test came back with trace amounts of weed in his system etc - just waiting for more Info. But if it it is as bad as it looks now - ban, end of

Banned substance can mean a lot of things to be fair. Might not be as insidious as Big Roidy Miller.

Well you can't blame him but I'd be more worried about the judges and referee if I was Ruiz. He has a point, if it's true the BBBofC were told and "cleared" Whyte to fight then who can he trust over here?

This is going to do some serious damage to British Boxing if all this is true, I will have to keep saying "if true" because as of yet all we know is a couple of reports Whyte failed a test and the BBBofC were fine with the fight going ahead.

Hearns vague and spin answer on Twitter is a disgrace, basically saying "BBBofC cleared both fighters" what the hell does that mean?

And surely of Whyte didn't test positive for a banned substance Hearn would say outright "load of cobblers, didn't happen, fake news"

It's all very suspect and I hope heads roll at Sky Sports Boxing, who knew BEFORE the fight and why wasn't the public told BEFORE a PPV event?

There is no excuse to sell a fight to the public knowing one fighter has failed a drug test, Sky Sports Boxings credibility is shaky anyway but this should get people fired if it's proven they knew and still sold the public the fight.

How many times has this happened before? Failed tests and the fight still going on? I can only think of Khan Peterson
