He saw the writing on the wall, if you need a mercy stoppage from the ref against Ebenezer Tetteh, Joe Joyce walks right through you. At this point, he should just retire, there's not many in the top 15-20 he could beat. So essentially he's just hanging around for the paychecks, more brain damage and several embarrassing KO losses to guys he would've beaten with ease 3 or 4 years ago.

****, was looking forward to that one.

Apparently Jermaine Franklin will replace Whyte. That's the exact type of opponent that Joe needs at this stage of his career. No power and dodgy stamina.

At this point, it’s more likely that Whyte has failed a random testing during camp

Chances he's popped again? These big old freaks should form a new PED commission.

    Christ - Franklin? Really?

Franklin would be a really good test for Itauma but Joyce V Franklin is not an exciting fight.

Really disappointed but not too surprised by Whyte pulling out.

Joyce should fight Zhang again and try for redemption. Zhang coming off a loss, he's vulnerable.

Thank God you're not a manager.

Sending a fighter to face the same man who brutally KOd him 2x in a row is ridiculous.

Nah that’s defo not the move on so many levels lol. Joyce coming off a loss too (a loss that was levels below zhang and kabayel) it’s not like he’s shown anything to justify a trilogy match. Both are near the end of their careers but Joyce is closer the end. Zhang will always have Joyce number I believe but even then I’m sure Zhang will choose his last few pay days wisely and not waste it on a smaller pay check on a man he’s Beaten clearly twice before

Franklin is a meh, but it might be a decent fight. Would rather see Yoka personally. Or just have him fight Okolie that night.

Whyte can permanently **** off. No need for him.
