Dillian Whyte says either Miller, Chisora or Brazeale is his next opponent

Wow. That's ambitious, considering he's well primed to be AJ's opponent next April as it is. He'd be only a fairly narrow favorite in any of those three fights. If this is true, made props to him for the guts and giving the fans true competitive contender v contender matchups.

Whyte ducking Ortiz and Pulev means he cannot get the benefit of the doubt. Both are some of Whyte's worst matchups. Miller is a bad matchup for Whyte too. That's the reason why Miller is last on the list of names in this thread.

Are you ******ed mate. He didn't duck Ortiz, Ortiz was used as a roadblock for Wilder to duck Whyte.

If he would have fought Ortiz, he would have been "second mandatory" and being the first mandatory ain't be called for a year anyway, how long would Whyte have to wait? 6 years? And if he took a fight for another title in the meantime he'd have to vacate the mandatory spot anyway. If the winner of Ortiz-Whyte was guaranteed a title shot within 6 months Whyte would have been up there like a rat up and drain pipe and only absolute cretins don't believe that. And for the record, I didn't see Ortiz attempt to make a fight with Whyte

He didn't take the Pulev fight because it was chump change, same reason your boy Miller didn't take it at 25%, especially when he can't increase his earnings through Sky PPV.

 

I think it will be Whyte vs Breazeale, it makes the most sense and it would be the easiest fight out of these options for Whyte.

Also it makes sense for Eddie to do it. If whyte beats Breazeale and becomes the mandatory for WBC it works favourably for Eddie. Eddie could then force Wilder to fight AJ for less money than he wants in a take it or leave it offer or you to face a very tough mandatory in Whyte (which if Wilder wins, it makes the AJ fight bigger - a win win for eddie in that circumstance).

Fighting December will be too soon for Miller considering the Adamek fight.

 

Relax blackouts, Miller is just good not great.

Ortiz would abuse Whyte, even at 40, and I wouldn't call it a "duck" but it looks bad he dosesn't want Pulev.

He already had done more than enough to fight Wilder but that got thrown out as a stalling tactic.

Come back to me when Ortiz beats a decent fighter of which he's fought one top 10 bloke (who isn't that good anyway) in his career and got stopped. He didn't fight Pulev, much like Miller, because no fighter who takes their career seriously is going to Bulgaria for 25% to get robbed.
